Biddulphia alternans

Biddulphia alternans is a species of diatoms in the family Biddulphiaceae. They are native to Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Alagoas, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, and SãO Paulo. Dead Biddulphia alternans form siliceous oozes.
