Picris hieracioides (Hawkweed Oxtongue) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Alaska. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Common carder bumblebee, Sphaerophoria scripta, Sphaerophoria, and Shrill carder bee. Individuals can grow to 0.43 m.
