Vernonia fasciculata (Prairie Ironweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is listed as endangered by COSEWIC. Prairie Ironweed is native to the contiguous United States, Canada, Canada, and the contiguous United States. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Polites peckius. Prairie Ironweed is a photoautotroph.
