Proterato lachryma (J. E. Gray ex G. B. Sowerby I 1832)

Proterato lachryma is a species of snails in the family Eratoidae. They are native to Tasman Sea and New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone. Dead Proterato lachryma form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 6.6 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
