Nuphar lutea (Yellow Water Lily) is a species of perennial herb in the family waterlilies. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Alaska, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Lasioglossum nelumbonis and Hylaeus schwarzii. Individuals can grow to 0.34 m.
