Camellia sinensis (Tea) is a species of tree in the family Theaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Asia. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Honey bee and Asian hornet. Individuals can grow to 2.5 m.
