Adiantum latifolium (Broad Leaf Maidenhair) is a species of perennial herb in the family Pteridaceae. They are native to Amazônia, Acre (Brazil), Roraima, Pará, U.S. Virgin Islands, GoiáS, Ceará, Pernambuco, RondôNia, Bahia, Maranhao, Piauí, Puerto Rico, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Tocantins, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Alagoas, ParaíBa, Rio De Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amapá, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso, and Espirito Santo. They have alternation of generations.
