Nephrolepis cordifolia (Narrow Swordfern) is a species of perennial herb in the family sword ferns. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pernambuco, Pan Tropic, Hawaii, Rio De Janeiro, Australia, Bahia, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, Distrito Federal, Acre (Brazil), Pará, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, RondôNia, Paraná, and Mata Atlântica. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 1 m. They have alternation of generations.
