Nephrolepis (Swordfern) is a genus of herb in the family sword ferns. They are native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, Hawaii, The Contiguous United States, and Puerto Rico. They have pinnate leaves. Individuals can grow to 8.2 m. They have alternation of generations.
