Styrax americanus (American Snowbell) is a species of shrub in the family Styracaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Eastern Carpenter Bee and Southern Carpenter Bee. Individuals can grow to 15 feet.
