Bidens laevis (Smooth Beggartick) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande Do Sul, Eastern North America, Pampa, North America, Santa Catarina, The Contiguous United States, and Paraná. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Trirhabda, Scotiptera, Stizus, and Dolerus. Individuals can grow to 3.3 feet.
