Echinacea purpurea (Eastern Purple Coneflower) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and China. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Iomelissa, Ashmeadiella bucconis, Bumble Bees, and Broad-handed Leaf-cutter Bee. Individuals can grow to 0.57 m.
