Description: English: Behind a masonry, a fungal mycelium is visibel. In the damp kitchen wall an opening was carved to look into the ventilation shaft. Hyphae covered the inner walls of the supply shaft almost completely. After three weeks, fruit bodies had developed and were used for a more precise determination of fungus. In each shaft, there are condensed water and dust, the basis for the growth of hyphae. Fruiting bodies are not formed. To find the cause of the observed water damage an opening was carved into the wall. Thus, the growth of the fruit bodies and spore formation was stimulated. Please note: Only the spores go as fine particles in the air and can have an unhealthy effect. Date: 17 October 2014, 07:05:44. Source: Own work. Author: Th.Voekler.
