Pseudupeneus prayensis (West African Goatfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family goatfishes. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 55 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is oviparous and iteroparous.
