Chaetodon auriga (Cross Stripe Butterfly) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family butterflyfishes. They are native to Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 23 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
