Aluterus monoceros (Batfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family filefishes. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 76.2 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is oviparous and iteroparous. They rely on anal and dorsal fin swimming to move around.
