Scorpaenoidei is a suborder of ray-finned fishes. There are 520 species of Scorpaenoidei, in 92 genera and 14 families. This suborder has been around since the cenozoic era. It includes groups like Neosebastidae, Zanclorhynchidae, and Pigfishes And Horsefishes. They are carnivores. They have sexual reproduction.
