Pollachius virens (Saithe) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family cods. They are native to Atlantic Ocean and Arctic Ocean. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 130 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
