Gymnura micrura (Smooth Butterfly Ray) is a species of Myliobatiformes in the family butterfly rays. This species is extinct. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are carnivores. Individuals could grow to 137 cm. They rely on pectoral fin oscillation to move around.
