Triaenodon obesus (Whitetip Reef Shark) is a species of modern sharks in the family requiem sharks. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are native to Indian Ocean, Asia, and Pacific Ocean. They are nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 213 cm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming and carcharhiniform to move around.
