Raiarctus aureolatus Renaud-Mornant 1981

This is a rare species with a disjunct distribution known only from a few intertidal and subtidal localities (sometimes more than 100 m bsl) in temperate and tropical zones, mainly in the northern hemisphere. It has been recorded from different types of sand.
