Sertulariidae forming erect, branched colonies, hydrothecae biseriate, alternate to subalternate, flask-shaped, narrowing distally, lacking marginal cusps, operculum a single adcauline flap, hydranth with abcauline caecum. Gonophores fixed sporosacs in small gonothecae.
