Diagnosis

provided by World Register of Marine Species
Odontosyllis with a large dorsal transversal stripe on each chaetiger; one pair of round, large spots at midline of each chaetiger ventrally; blades of falcigers bidentate, with both teeth similar in length in anterior chaetigers and in mid- and posterior body dorsalmost chaetae, subdistal tooth smaller in mid- and posterior body ventralmost chaetae.
