They are native to Canary Islands, saint helena, ascension and tristan da cunha, Natal, Gulf Of Guinea, Mauritanian Exclusive Economic Zone, Angolan Exclusive Economic Zone, and Cape Verde. Dead Pseudochama cristella form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 39.6 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
