Hyalopecten pudicus (E. A. Smith 1885)

Hyalopecten pudicus is a species of mussels in the family scallops. Dead Hyalopecten pudicus form shallow marine sediments. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 33 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are burrowers.
