Delectopecten fosterianus is a species of mussels in the family scallops. They are native to Bass Strait, Tasman Sea, Great Australian Bight, and New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone. Dead Delectopecten fosterianus form shallow marine sediments. They have sexual reproduction.
