Limatula subauriculata (Montagu 1808)

Limatula subauriculata is a species of mussels in the family file clam. Limatula subauriculata form shallow marine sediments. It is a suspension feeder. Individuals can grow to 13 mm. Limatula subauriculata has sexual reproduction. It is a facultatively mobile animal.
