Bathymodiolus platifrons is a species of bivalves in the family Marine Mussels. Dead Bathymodiolus platifrons form shallow marine sediments. Adult Bathymodiolus platifrons form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 115.6 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
