Acropora tortuosa (Dana 1846)

Acropora tortuosa is a species of staghorn corals in the family staghorn corals. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Acropora tortuosa form shallow marine sediments. Acropora tortuosa form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
