Colonies are massive, flat, hemispherical or columnar with the surface raised into mounds. Corralites are immersed. The reticulum is smooth. Colour: Brown, cream or purple. Distribution: from the Western Indian Ocean east to the Ellice Islands and Samoa (Veron, 1986).
