Polycyathus is a genus of caryophylliid corals in the family caryophylliid corals. This genus is extinct. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Polycyathus form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
