Lespedeza capitata (Roundhead Lespedeza) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, North America, and Eastern North America. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Two-spotted Bumblebee, Cupido comyntas, Carpenter Bees, and Leaf-cutter and Resin Bees. Individuals can grow to 0.8 m.
