Inga affinis is a species of shrub in the family Fabaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Amapá, Pantanal, Santa Catarina, Espirito Santo, Rondônia, Tocantins, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso, Distrito Federal, Maranhao, Cerrado, Bahia, Piauí, Paraíba, Acre (Brazil), Amazônia, Pará, Mata Atlântica, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Roraima, Amazônia, Goiás, Ceará, São Paulo, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Rio de Janeiro. Inga affinis has compound, broad leaves. It fixes nitrogen. It is a photoautotroph.
