Ranunculus abortivus (Littleleaf Buttercup) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, Canada, Alaska, and the contiguous United States. Littleleaf Buttercup has simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Cheilosia hoodiana (Bigot 1884). Littleleaf Buttercup is a photoautotroph.
