Ranunculus abortivus (Littleleaf Buttercup) is a species of biennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, Alaska, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Osmia collinsiae, Nine-spotted Lady Beetle, Cheilosia hoodiana, and Coelioxys modesta. Individuals can grow to 2.8 feet.
