Soliva sessilis (Field Burrweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Rio de Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, Cerrado, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, Paraná, São Paulo, Santa Catarina, and Pampa. Field Burrweed has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.026 m.
