Cerceris nigrescens is a species of Hymenoptera in the family crabronid wasps. They visit flowers of Queen Anne's lace, Golden-Hardhack, European gooseberry, and Russian leafy spurge. They are diurnal. Individuals can grow to 9.3 mm.
