Paraulacizes irrorata--this was a new one for me, though it appears to be common, based on BugGuide records. It was hugging very closely to the stem of Frostweed, Verbesina virginica in my garden. I loved the pattern, so captured it for some studio shots. It has a bright red abdomen--revealed when it hopped, but I could not get a photo. Length is about 11 mm.
