Capra falconeri (Markhor) is a species of mammals in the family Bovidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to the Palearctic. They are solitary, diurnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 168 months and can grow to 1590 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running to move around.
