Nasua nasua (South American Coati) is a species of Mammal in the family raccoons. They are native to Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, French Guiana, The Neotropics, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Suriname, Guyana, and Bolivia. They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 212.4 months and can grow to 527.63 mm. They rely on running and arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
