Mustela nigripes (Black Footed Ferret) is a species of mammals in the family Mustelidae. They are listed as extirpated by COSEWIC and in cites appendix i. They are native to The Nearctic and United States. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 144 months and can grow to 395.94 mm. They rely on running to move around.
