Lepus capensis (Cape Hare) is a species of mammals in the family Leporidae. They are native to Asia and Ethiopia. They are solitary, diurnal herbivores. Individuals can grow to 426.03 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on saltation and running to move around.
