Couratari macrosperma A. C. Sm.

Couratari macrosperma is a species of tree in the family Lecythidaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mato Grosso, Espirito Santo, Bahia, Amazônia, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), RondôNia, Pará, Rio De Janeiro, and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 24 m.
