Rubus (Blackberry) is a genus of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to North America, Western North America, and Eastern North America. They have drupe. Flowers are visited by Andrena nasonii, Bumble Bees, Pseudothyris sepulchralis, and Bombus hortulanus. Individuals can grow to 3.4 m.
