Xerochrysum bracteatum (Bracted Strawflower) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). Flowers are visited by Cyrestis thyodamas, Scolia clypeata, Megachile leaf-cutter bee, and Common Eastern Bumblebee.
