Leptospermum scoparium (Mānuka) is a species of shrub in the family myrtles. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Māori Masked Bee, Scaptia adrel, and Leioproctus paahaumaa. Individuals can grow to 2.6 m.
