Polistes fuscatus (Northern Paper Wasp) is a species of Eumenidae in the family Eumenidae. They are native to The Nearctic and The Neotropics. They visit flowers of whorled milkweed and Ribes uva-crispa sativum. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 18 mm. They have parental care (cooperative breeding and female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
