Omphalia eximia Peck, Bull. Torrey Club 25: 370. 1898.
Pileus thin, infundibuliform or deeply umbilicate, 1-3.5 cm. broad; surface glabrous, white, becoming grayish-white on drying, margin thin, spreading or defiexedi lamellae very decurrent, subdistant, narrow, white: spores subglobose, 4-5 n: stipe glabrous, white, slender, equal or slightly enlarged above, hollow, 2.5-5 cm. long, 2-3 mm. thick.
Type; locality: Alabama.
Habitat; On decaying wood.
Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
