Here's an example of a Keel-billed Toucan's (Ramphastos sulfuratus) "whisper song" recorded at El Pizote, near Puerto Viejo de Talamanca (Costa Rica), 6/21/99.
Chestnut-mandibled Toucans (Ramphastos swainsonii) are one of the two large toucans in Costa Rica. They often coexist with their cousin, the Keel-billed Toucan, but their calls are entirely different. This one was recorded in La Selva, 11/98.
