Chlosyne nycteis (Silvery Checkerspot) is a species of butterflies in the family brush-footed butterflies. They visit flowers of Common Melilot, Indian-hemp, Pendleton's eryngo, and blackeyed Susan. Individuals can grow to 42.5 mm.
