Magnolia grandiflora (Southern Magnolia) is a species of tree in the family Magnoliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Chauliognathus marginatus, varied carpet beetle, Eastern Carpenter Bee, and Stomoxys. Individuals can grow to 100 feet.
